John (“Bud”) founded MMI in 1960. He started the business with a just a few dollars and even fewer people. But through hard work and perseverance, he built the business and established our foundation for success, based on Customer service and loyalty. Bud served in WWII in the China-Burma-India Theater and received his degree in Business Administration from Kent State University, where he played varsity football and basketball. Even though they have passed, Bud and sons Jack and Mike continue as our inspiration.
In 2009, Brian stepped into the role of Executive VP at MMI, assuming responsibility for overseeing all operational and administrative aspects of the company. With his dynamic leadership, MMI has continued to flourish. Before joining our team, Brian honed his expertise in accounting and financial analysis during his tenure at US Lubes Corp.
A proud alumnus of the University of Dayton, Brian holds a degree in Accounting, which has been instrumental in shaping his strategic approach to managing MMI’s financial landscape. As a visionary leader, Brian remains dedicated to driving growth, fostering innovation, and ensuring operational excellence across all facets of the business.
Under Brian’s guidance, MMI has achieved new heights, solidifying its position as a leading force in the industry. His unwavering commitment to excellence continues to inspire our team and fuel our mission to provide unmatched service to our valued clients. In 2012, Mark brought his extensive business and legal expertise to MMI, boasting over 30 years of experience with prominent international companies in the building products, aerospace, healthcare, and chemical industries. Prior to joining MMI, Mark held the esteemed position of Senior VP, General Counsel, and Secretary at STERIS Corporation, a leading $2B NYSE medical device and healthcare products and services company. During his tenure, he oversaw legal matters, health and safety, environmental concerns, human resources, security, and Board of Directors affairs.
Mark’s academic background is equally impressive, having earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University and his Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Cleveland State University. With his wealth of knowledge and expertise, Mark plays a vital role in advancing MMI’s mission and ensuring the company’s continued success.
Gary, a valued member of our team since 1994, earned a well-deserved promotion to Vice President in 2000. With an unwavering commitment to our customers, he plays a pivotal role in supporting them and spearheading our operations in the western region. Gary’s passion for delivering exceptional customer service and his knack for immediate responsiveness make him an indispensable asset to our organization.
